Our Mission & Story

The Daily Beloved was created, first and foremost, as a personal reminder for myself. I'll be honest, I don't always have my devotionals daily. It's a little embarrassing to admit, but yes, I struggle too. God has many ways to reach us, and I believe He can use an app like this as His tool to remind and enlighten us of His truth and love.

At first, I used it for my own personal devotionals and for morning and evening worship with my beloved wife. But then I felt led to open it up to everyone who is thirsting and seeking God's kingdom and His righteousness. The resources here are from my personal collection, and now I'm sharing them with everyone for free.

Why "The Daily Beloved"? For me, devotionals are all about intimacy with God, and the word "Beloved" captures that relational warmth better than something like "daily bread" or "morning light." It's also a daily reminder that our identity is rooted in God and that we are His beloved children.

Lastly, I believe that it is in the secret chamber where most great victories are won. May this app be a blessing to you, just as it has been to me, my beloved wife, and our family.
